Région SUD is the regional council of the administrative region of Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur in South Eastern France.
Its activities is to provide public services while promoting general interest of its inhabitants, as well as their well-being and equal chances.
Third region of France in terms of population, its economic dynamism contributes to French development, as 7% of French GDP is produced in Région SUD.
Région SUD is in charge of policies revolving around daily concerns of its inhabitants, as highschools, vocational training and learning, regional public transports, employement and economic development, culture, sports...
Région SUD is divided in six "départements" : Alpes-de-Haute Provence, Alpes Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Hautes-Alpes, Vaucluse et Var.
